Arrival in Samut
The journey began two weeks ago starting in Seattle. Pastor Brian, Lisa, Mick and Sherrie were found in the same restaurant as my Auntie Sally, Sandy (her friend) and I. The Olive garden, of all places! An impromptu prayer "send off" was ordained in the parking lot, sending me off with blessings and armor which set the mood for EDGE orientation 2009 down in West Palm beach Florida. Finally meeting my team was a real joy!
EDGE training equipped us as a team, unifying us in the body of Christ! The long 26 hour treck overseas was covered with God's grace. We were most grateful for HIS provisions, as we arrived safely to Samut Prakan.
The Malones and Greg (long termers) have welcomed us with open arms; sharing their space (literally), knowledge and understanding of this area. They have been most gracious in sharing their vision God has pressed upon their hearts. They are compelled to work in Samut slums for the advancement of God's Kingdom! They are saints who, by heeding His call, have recklessly abandoned themselves, so that He may be glorified amongst the nations. I realize how blessed I am, to be under their discipleship. Thank you God! Here are some pictures thus this far! Enjoy!
